Suzanne K. Walther has her Ph.D. from New York University  where she taught dance theory as an adjunct professor for several years. She is a dance critic and scholar as well as a painter. Her book, The Dance of Death: Kurt Jooss and the Weimar years was published in 1994. She was the editor of Magazine.Art through its  print run of several years.
