Pahl
Luda Pahl was born in Russia and educated at the Academy of Arts of Tbilisi in the Republic of Georgia. She is an illustrator, cartoonist, collagist, translator, fashion designer, and art teacher. While living in Europe, she worked as a costume designer for the Trier Ballet Theater. Her art has been exhibited in New York, and she was awarded a Queens Council of the Arts grant for her collages. Under the initials DLP, she and her husband collaborate on cartoons reflecting their cynical view of contemporary society She has also illustrated a number of works by other authors.
